for varied reasons, never stayed at OKW. Booked add on to existing trip in June/July there.

according to the room finder, the category booked will be located in bldg 13. Yes, our party does require an accessible room.

Location certainly appears convenient to everything, looking forward to finally checking it out, especially Olivia’s.

My concern is parking or the lack of it. Have seen numerous reviews panning that section, with inference parking issues are due to those in other buildings whom drive up to utilize the main pool/Olivia’s or park to catch the boat to DTD. :confused3 Is this “a thing”?

Alternatively, is there valet parking at OKW?

worst case, if no spots to be had, assume we could drop family off and park in another section of the resort.:scratchin

First, I'm not quite sure why you think you'll be in building 13. It's certainly a possibility, but there are a number of buildings identified as 'near hospitality house'. But if you are in 13 for a specific room (and we've actually been in 13 a few times over the years), we have not had issues with parking. There's not an abundance of spaces, and sometimes we might be parking near the next building - but we've definitely had a space with minimal walking to the room. If your party has a DIS placard or plate, there is at least one accessible space there, maybe 2.

Your question about valet got me thinking. We've stayed there literally dozens of times, and I can't specifically recall valet parking there. But the Disney site says all deluxe rooms and villas offer valet parking for $33+. But again, if valet is offered and you have a placard or plate, valet parking is free at all Disney valet stations. Hopefully, someone with actual valet experience can answer the question.

Keep in mind, there is a separate parking lot across the street from building 13, next to the main entrance, for guests to park short-term for checking in, and guests to park for the pool and Olivia's. There should be enough parking there for folks to not be taking up your space in building 13, or any building on that side. And yes, building 13 would be extremely convenient to Conch Flats, the pool, the marina, the store, and the main lobby. It's also easy to drive out of the resort from there, as you're very close to the entrance/exit, if you use your car to travel to other resorts, the parks, or Disney Springs.

Hope you have a great trip! We find OKW to still be one of our favorites - the big rooms, the big balconies (we often do breakfast or some meal sitting on the over-sized balcony overlooking the lake/golf course), and the peaceful feel. Enjoy!

Yes

Thank you for such a detailed response!

My extended family loves the resort. My mr has been resistant to the ‘spread out-ness’ of it
