OKW - just back & KUDOS!

We now understand why OKW has so many fans. We returned Friday after a week's stay and couldn't have had a better vacation! LOVED the resort. We were in room 4524, a 2 bedroom unit. Everything was clean and neat as a pin. All new appliances and DVD player. Great view of the canal and ducks. Front desk and housekeeping were both great and very helpful. Check-in was a breeze.

Our son and his wife slept on the fold-out sofa and said it was quite comfortable. The kitchen was wonderful for our toddler niece (and her parents). We never waited longer than 5 minutes for a bus. We ate at Olivia's twice and enjoyed it very much.

We rented points for this trip and we are seriously discussing buying an OKW resale. We have to get our son through his last year and a half of college first, then OKW will be our first choice. We'll probably need to rent points again for our 10/05 visit, but we've definitely become "Welcome Home" wannabes!

I stayed in that building a couple of times. It is very nice there. I think they give it out to people who do not choose a particular area as a request. It is about as far as one can get from a pool at OKW and the bus stop is a little down the street also, but it a great place to stay. Great view and there always seems to be rabbits around that area, I am glad to see you enjoyed OKW, since you are not a member you may want to try some other DVC resort. The rooms are the best thing about DVC I think.

We realized that 4524 was a little way from the Hospitality House, but it was ready when we checked in early. Our toddler isn't really ready for all the larger pool had to offer, and she loved the ducks and the balcony. We quite enjoyed the quiet of where we were for the necessary nap times, and no bus noises at all.

Yes, we enjoyed OKW very much. We discussed the other DVC resorts, but the extra room at OKW for 6 adults and a little one was the deciding factor for this trip. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out! Our son is lobbying for BCV next trip - he's itching to try SAB. And there will only be four of us.

Now everyone's going to know that OKW is the best !

Honestly, all the resorts have their plusses, but the rooms at OKW will spoile you very quickly. Especially if you go with extended family ,or friends. We have been disapointed in other rooms at other resorts after experiencing OKW size.
