We did once on our last trip there... a golfball hit our patio... not yours gmboy95.... lol but your post got me thinking......

While staying at OKW have you ever had a stray golf ball hit your villa/balcony?

Once, second floor 1 bedroom unit. A golf ball hit on the side of the unit, near the living room windows. It was LOUD!!!

Never had one hit while we were in the unit, but we had a 2 bdr on the second floor once and would count the balls that were stuck in the plam frongs of the tree outside our unit. We counted 16 one day.

..... but I'm not certain how I'd really know for sure unless I actually saw the ball. Maybe next time I hear a THUMP I'll assume it was a golf ball and not a blind smoker staying in a NS, non HC room bumping into things looking for an ashtray.

Us too! I could hear them tangle in the palms when I was out on the porch. Felt like yelling "Incoming!" I'm never going to complain about all the trees around, blocking views. Those trees are protecting us!

I still remember playing a round with some buddies out of high school. Middle of the day--crappy course--nobody around. First tee I sliced the ball over a fence and out of bounds. The ball traveled almost an exact 90 degree angle away from the fairway.

I then proceeded to high the exact same shot FIVE MORE TIMES right off the tee! If someone had been videotaping, you would have thought I was looping the video of the first shot.

One of my friends finally said "just pick up the ball." I looked at him with my mouth hanging open and said "it's not like I'm stuck in a bunker here...if I can't hit THIS shot, it's not going to get any better on the next hole!"

And that is why I play basketball for fun and exercise.

We;ve had a couple hit the side of our 2nd floor unit. One day me and DH sat out there and directed two guys where to go to find their balls in the brush in front of the unit.
