OKW GV Veteren's Day weekend 2012

Ok so we are already pre planning a large group vacation in Nov. of 2012, over Veteran's Day weekend. 6 adults,(4 kids ages 2 1/2, 3 1/2, 5 1/2 and 7) How difficult would it be to get a GV at OKW? We would book a GV at SSR at the 11 month mark but the GVs at OKW look much roomier and require so fewer points. What do you think? TIA

GV's are among the first to be booked. You may get lucky but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

You will also be competing with Jersey Week bookings, so be sure to call at 9:00 AM exactly 7 months out. OKW does have 27 GVs, so I think you have a shot. Good luck!

My guess is no for a GV at 7 months out at OKW. But you won't know until you try. Just book something at SSR - like a two bedroom and a studio. Or a treehouse villa. They will sleep nine plus one.

I agree about booking a treehouse at 11 months and then trying to switch to an OKW GV at the 7 month window. That way you will still have the accommodations if you can't get the GV.
