OKW GV at 7 months out

How likely would a GV be available at OKW at 7 months out, if we were going during March (but not at Easter)? We don't have any definite plans yet, this probably would be 2004 or later, but we were curious as to how seriously to think about it. A 2BR and separate studio would be an alternative.

Most people seem to call day-by-day when they want a GV. It will be tough, but not impossible. Having the "back-up" plan is a good idea. If the GV isn't available, you can book the back-up and then stay on a wait list for the GV.

I wanted a GV in OKW for seven nights this coming October. I rang daily at 7 months out and was able to get the first four nights straight away! I waitlisted for the fifth night and that came through within a few weeks. I am now waitlisted for the remaining two nights together (I fugured I wouldn't mind moving for two nights if I have to, but didn't want to end up moving for just one of those nights).
