OKW Grand Villa at 7 months

We are thinking of taking my DW's family at the end of September/begining of October. How difficult is it to nab a GV in this time frame? Any tips or recomendations?

Since there are only 27 OKW GVs and you will probably be in the middle of food and wine season, I would expect it to be difficult to get a GV at 7 months.

I would attempt to transfer in enough OKW points to make the ressie at 11 months, or rent a ressie from another member.

You could always trade your Home Resort points with an OKW Owner

Earlier in Sept I would think you have a chance, not that week though it's F&W.

We are trying for a couple of weeks earlier in September. We currently have 2 rooms at SSR...points are almost identical. I can't do day by day ressies due to my points being tied up with the other ressie, so my plan is to go on the wait list if necessary for the entire week. I won't be disappointed though if we have to stay at SSR....matter of fact, I actually am torn as I really really like SSR, but can't afford the points for a GV there.
