OKW bus stop at MK

I meant to talk to some one at the OKW annual meeting, but I forgot . I saw someone else mention this in another post. Any ideas why the OKW bus stop at the Magic Kingdom is THE last, THE furthest bus stop from the entrance? We walked past two Port Orleans & three All Stars bus stops . Now I have no problem with splitting up the AS & PO busses, but why wasn't OKW at the front?

We took the bus last Tuesday from OKW to MK. We didn't wait long for a MK bus, maybe five minutes . The driver let us off & we thought "wow this is great, the second bus stop." When we got off, we all realized that he dropped us off at the YC/BC bus stop.

Did you happen to notice whether the driver stopped to talk to someone in a van before dropping you off? When we were at the BWV he did that and dropped us off at the same stop. It is possible that he was getting new route instructions and changed his destination to the YC thus leaving you off at the YC stop to pick up people for the YC.

Interesting, Sweetpea, yes, he did stop & talk to someone in the white van! I wonder if any OKW guests returned to the bus stop where we were dropped off.

When we were at OKW in March, the OKW stop at MK was about the third stop. I might be wrong, but I think I remember someone posting once that the stop sites are periodically rotated so that no resort is always first or last.

I'm pretty sure it was the third stop when we went early this summer.

We stayed at OKW the last week of November and the OKW stop was the last one at MK. It wasn't that bad of a walk but after a full day in the parks it seemed longer than it actually was. We never waited more than a few minutes for a bus so that was definitely a plus!

If they're rotating bus stops, I sure hope OKW becomes the first one by the end of January! lol

OKW is the last bus stop at the far area now. Another reason to take your car.

And where do you park your car? By the time one parks in the MK parking lot, takes the tram to the TTC & then takes another mode of transportation (boat or monorail) to MK ....
