We are heading to OKW (1BR) in May with our in new little one in tow (DD-2 months). We have been here before with just DS7 and have always stayed in a 2BR in buildings 23 and 24, which we really liked mainly because of walkability to the HH. My concern is that we are planning, this time, to spend a lot of time at the resort because DD is so little and I know DS will want to be at the pool but DD will have to take more frequent breaks from the sun. So I am looking for the best place where we can all head to the pool and then one of us can easily head back in with DD for breaks, pop back out, etc. I've never seen any of the quiet pools and have no idea how close any of the buildings actually are to the pools in comparison to the the buildings closest to the HH and main pool. So the short of it is, I don't know whether to try to get building 23 or 13, for example, (which I know can be hard to get) to just be close to the main pool and HH, or if trying to get close to one of the quiet pools would actually be better? Also, do the quiet pools have any kiddie pools or areas? Thanks!! :goodvibes

I really like the Southpoint area. There is a nice quiet pool there with a small playground. Buildings 55 and 56 are on either side of the pool. They are very close. Other buildings close to the quiet pools are:
Turtle Pond: Building 41 is very close, but 42, and 43 are also close. There is a nice playground and arcade area here.
Miller's Road: Buildings 19 and 20 are very close to a quiet pool as well.

I don't recall seeing kiddie pools near the quiet pools however. There are hot tubs for mom and dad though!

I would try to avoid buildings 23 to 29. These are on Pennisular Road and are not really close to anything. Although on the map they are right across from the main pool, you'd have to swim across the channel to get there.

Good luck and enjoy your trip with you family!

We stayed in a 2BR on the second floor in Building 13 when our youger boy was 1 yr. Any other buildings in this area would be a great choice. Your DS7 will no doubt love the new slide and being close to all of the amenities in HH is definitely a nice advantage. My guess is that many people request these buildings, so your request may not be easy to fill, but it would be great if you can get it. Good luck and have a magical trip! :earsboy:

Quiet pools do not have kiddie pools. Most units are a short walk to a pool. What I would do is ask to close to any pool as a request. All pools have tables with umbrellas for protection from the sun.
