OKW Bathroom Question

I am going to reserve a one bedroom at OKW. I know that the majority of one bedrooms have bathrooms which can only be entered by a door in the bedroom suite area. If you are sleeping in the living room you would not be able to use the bathroom without disturbing the bedroom occupants.

Am I wrong in thinking that the newer bedrooms at OKW have bathrooms that can be entered from both the bedroom area and the living room area? If I am correct what should I ask Member Services to insure that I get the newer floor plan model.

Any help will be appreciated.

All buildings with a number of 30 or more have a separate door to the bathroom through the laundry room. The buildings below that number only have the one entrance through the master bedroom.

"If you are sleeping in the living room you would not be able to use the bathroom without disturbing the bedroom occupants."

We had one of the lower number buildings and really had no problem with the door location for th bathroom. Bottom line, the turbo flush will wake up anyone no matter where the door is located!! The door to the bathroom is directly inside the bedroom kind of in a little hall. I don't see it as a really big problem.

Thanks for your advice. I didn't know about the above 30# on the buildings. However, maybe it won't matter what building we are in!

Just ask for building 30 or above and explain. I don't know about anyone else but I would not want anyone walking into my bedroom to go to the bathroom. With the other door you can walk directly into the bathroom through the laundry room without waking anyone. Without the extra door you would have to open the bedroom door to the master bedroom and walk through the area where the tub is to the main door to the bathroom, all this while it could be very dark. Of course there are two bedroom villas available which would give you guests their own bath.

I think they must look at the occupancy you have stated because I have never been assigned a unit with 1 bathroom door when I have told them that we will have 4 adults, or 2 adults and 2 children. One would hope that by looking at how many people will be there that they will assume that more than 2 means people sleeping in the living room, hence 2nd door preferable.

Of course the one time I have been at OKW where there were just 2 adults, we got a 2nd door, but that could just be the numbers. (If all under #30 have 1 door, it would seem that there is a higher number with 2 doors)
