Could someone please describe what type of balcony you get with an upper-floor, two-bedroom unit at OKW.

I am wondering whether they are much bigger (and therefore more functional) than what we have had at VWL and BCV.

Thanks very much.

I am just guessing about the measurements, but to start with I would assume they are bigger than the ones at other DVC resorts. There are 4 chairs out there and good size table. You could eat a meal off it if you were so inclined. The one bedroom and the two bedroom and the GV at OKW have the same size porch. I would say 15 feet by 5 feet, but I am only guessing. There is a fan and a light outside also. There are two doors to it, one from the master bedroom, the other from the living room.

They are much larger and more utilitarian than the other DVC's. Four people can sit outside at the large table comfortably. There is a fan and a light overhead. At BWV I can sit outside, but it feels very confining to me, not to mention it feels like a high-wire act. JMHO!

They are very spacious. There is a table for four plus plenty of room to move around. There is an overhead light and fan. Some are the rectangular shape in the photo above and some are more angled (half octangle?). The photo doesn't real do justice to how big they are. The balconies are accessed from the living area and the master bedroom.

If you click on the link below and then call up the virtual tour you will see a shot of a building in the Intro. Each of the balconies you see is attached to one unit. Also, the picture in the far left of the "choices" after the Intro (the one that says Intro) gives a small view of a balcony but with a little more perspective.

The studio units have much smaller balconies. Cocktail table and 2 chairs. In a lock-off 2 bedroom you would have this balcony as well as the larger one.

Pam thank you - I don't how until you pointed them out that I missed these virtual tours - thanks!
