OKW and Downtown Disney

Is it possible to safely walk (i.e. sidewalk or path) from Old Key West to Downtown Disney? If so, how long does it take one way and what route is it?

Path is still there I used it to walk to SSR but if you kept going I think it would lead to the parking lot over by the house of blue in dtd. So long as it is light out it is fine. I wouldn't walk it at night the path is not lit.

Thanks for the link. My dad loves to walk and I thought we'd try that during the day to Downtown Disney. Looks nice and scenic.

It is 0.93 miles from the pathway behind Bldg 55 to Cirque. The walkway is not lighted and is 'technically' closed after dark but is a nice walk aling the Trumbo Canal. We've seen golden eagles and river otter while walking that path over the years.
