OKW - ? about Ed the DD boat captain

We took the boat from OKW to Downtown Disney one day last year. I believe the captain's name was Ed(?) - an older gentleman with greying hair. He mentioned that the boats to DD would be changing and he would no longer be driving them.

Does anyone know if he's still working somewhere at OKW, possibly at the marina??

When we were there in Dec, we always manage to catch a ride with Eddie - he's so much fun to be around and a real sweetie too! I sure hope to see him in a few weeks. He'll probably be working at Hank's in the Community Hall - at least I hope so.

When we were down in March, we heard that when SAratoga Springs opens the boat service will be turned over to the same company that operates the Port Orleans boats.. they will be larger than the ones at OKW now, and will make stops in SS and OKW. New crews as well.
