We'll be at OKW in March and I am really looking forward to sitting on the balcony overlooking the water and enjoying an adult beverage.:drinking1

Is there an area to request that will give me privacy on my balcony? I would love to be able to sit out there and not have someone from another building sitting on their balcony in plain sight. I'm fine with the occasional boat/golfer/jogger just passing through but I really don't want to see other people on their balconies. I've looked at the map but it's so tough to judge without ever having stayed there. Is this possible at OKW?

We'll be in a dedicated 2 BR but not in HH. We'd love a water view. We'll have 3 little boys that are eager to use the main pool area but are fine with hopping a bus or driving our own car to get there. Grandma will be with us but she doesn't mind stairs so the top floors are an option.

OKW looks so beautiful, we can't wait to get there! What requests should we make?

Sounds like building 45 or 46 would be a good choice for you. You may want to take a look here on the DIS for a map of OKW resort maps.

We were in building 46 in a 2-bedroom villa and it was very private. All we had in front of our balcony was the river and lots of trees on the other side. It was a fantastic view. The way the building was built the only other balconies we saw were those beneath us on each side if we looked down. Our requests were buildings 45 or 46, river view. Having the upper floor was really nice. We loved it. Good luck.

A view and privacy do not really go together. You can get privacy by asking for a 1st floor room in say 55 but you view is limited by the same plants that are giving you some privacy.

We were in Bldg 46 on the second floor. We could see below us, adjacent to us and above us. There are no private balconies at OKW.
