Hi
Where would you recommend to stay?
we are a party of 4 adults and 1 kid (6yrs), on a high occupancy date (Oct 1-3), visiting mostly MK and EP - and using Disney transportation
Thanks!

OKW is a clear winner here for me. But then again everyone has different things that are important to them. Aside from the difference in the resorts themselves, the room layouts posted above tell the story. The OKW rooms are quite nice. We've had some fantastic scenic views there as well.

OKW.LKS would be more for larger families that won't fit in a studio ,not 4 adults, imo, unless 2 of the adults are the kids of the other 2 adults.

Thank you all! How about transportation?
Is having the gondola to EP a true advantage?

Going back in the night from the parks probably AoA has longer lines right?

I'm going to be the weirdo that says AoA. I love those resorts as do my kids. We stayed in them last trip with 4 adults and 3 kiddos (one kid was in a pack and play). We really are only in our room to sleep so it works for us. We love the skyliner so that's helpful for us in terms of transportation.

I love all the disney details in the rooms and pools. I personally prefer the nemo rooms but my kids love the lion king and Cars

What's more important to your family: amenities or theming for your kiddo? I personally am happy to give up theming for a kitchen, laundry, and two bedrooms. But for some adults, they want that theming for the kiddos regardless of amenities.

Never been in person, but the AoA suites seem cramped per room, like how could all of you hangout in the living room with the kitchenette and closet in there? OKW is as big as a house, plus the pools are great too. I would guess you would have a shorter walk to your room in OKW from the bus since there are multiple stops in the resort. I recommend Turtle Pond area or if you're renting points, you can request close to Hospitality House.

All-Star Music has lovely family suites and the resort is much smaller than Pop or AoA for buses. Supposedly they are all renovated and have the same pull-down table bed, plus the new Murphy bed behind the sofa. We have 2 rooms at Movies in January but we think we are moving to the Family Suites instead since we won't have to do the sofabed thing.

They don't share buses unless it's the middle of the day and only 3 people are at the bus stop. Definitely less lines and less of a walk to your room. 3 food courts within the All-Star complex plus 6 pools to spread around too.

Old key west 2brs are huge. You will have a separate very large living area and full kitchen, plus a large balcony. As an adult I really like having more space to spread out, plus private sleeping space. It looks like AoA suites have separate sleeping areas, but the common space is lacking.
