Do all OKW two bedrooms have two balconies? A small one off of the studio area and a large one off of the living room? This will be our first time staying in a two bedroom at OKW and we are getting very excited. :bounce: Last Christmas we were in a two bedroom at BCV and loved it!

A two bedroom at OKW is truly a 2 bedroom with no lock-offs. You have a one master bedroom with a large second bedroom with two queens and plenty of room. Only one balcony. There are two entrances to the balcony one from the master bedroom and the other from the living room. The two bedroom at OKW is 1410 square feet compared to other two bedrooms at other DVC that are much smaller around 1080 swuare feet. You will be shocked by the size of the place.

I don't believe this is correct. I believe that several years ago we stayed in a room at OKW with a connecting door between the 1-bedroom and the studio. It was a ground floor and I think there was a small balcony off the studio as well as a big balcony off the LR and MBR on the 1 bedroom. Hopefully someone else who has stayed recently (and has a better memory than I do ;) ) will post.

I'm pretty sure that OKW does have both lock-offs and dedicated 2 BRs. The one time we stayed in a 2 BR, it was dedicated, and we had just the one balcony so I don't know about that, but I'm pretty sure I remember that we were told when I called for ressies that some were lock-offs and some dedicated.

I have been a member there since 95, 17 trips down there, many staying in a two bedroom.. IF YOU CALL MS AND ASK FOR A 2 BEDROOM AT OKW YOU WILL GET JUST THAT A 2 BEDROOM, YOU WILL NOT GET A ONE BEDROOM WITH A CONNECTING STUDIO UNLESS YOU ASK FOR IT. You must ask for it.

Pa@OKW95 is right.

If you ask for a 2 bedroom "lock-off" you will get a one bedroom with a connecting studio - each will have a balcony. A large balcony that is accessible from the living room and master bedroom and a smaller balcony off the studio.

A regular two-bedroom (sometimes referred to as dedicated) will only have the one balcony accessible from the living room and master bedroom.

::yes::

I did not ask for a lockoff...and my ressie does not say dedicated on it. It sounds like I'll have a dedicated 2BR, though. Either is fine...though with the small kids it might be better not to have the extra doors.

Our very first stay was a room for 6 - ergo a 2BR - and the studio was a lock off - not at our request.

fwiw - it was handicapped room - upon our request!!!!

3415 and i guess 3416??

Thank you for all the replys! We just requested a 2 bedroom, so I now know I will have one big balcony. My dad is so excited just to sit on the balcony. That's his idea of a good vacation!

With adult guests staying with us, we request a lock-off so they have their own balcony.
