We're going to OKW for 5 nights in 2 weeks.

Our group is two moms, two kids. None of us are especially good at sleeping together, but the best bet may be the two girls (9 and 8). We're definately bringing a twin size air mattress. Is there room for two of them? Someone mentioned a while back that the kitchen fits a blow up. Would that be a twin or double? (I'm thinking that the girls may be happy sharing a double or queen if they were separated in the kitchen, then us moms can have real beds alone, lol.)

Didn't there used to be floor plans somewhere??

Thanks in advance.

Yes....You can definitely fit 2 air mattresses in the living room.
I tried to post the link to the main wdw site, but it states that the website is "too busy" and to try back later.

You really won't have two real beds at OKW in a one bedroom. You'll get the king bed in the master bed room and the queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a loveseat that does not fold out, but someone could sleep on that if they weren't very tall.

You won't put the blowup in the kitchen, but in the dining room maybe or in the living room at OKW. Or you could put it in the laundry room, but I sure wouldn't want to sleep in the laundry room.

don't forget the hallway (from the outside to the livingroom). is big enough for a twin.

We put a raised twin air mattress between the king bed and the wall next to the door going out to the balcony just fine also. We have also used the cushions off the sofa to make a bed but don't know if the new style would work so well. There is definitely plenty of room in an OKW 1 BR for 4 people. Just remember to bring the extra bedding for the air beds. You will have plenty of pillows- 4 on the king bed and two in the closet for the sofa bed but no extra sheets or blankets. The kitchen, dining, and living room are really all one room with an island near the cooking areas that holds the TV. there are several ways to fit a double or queen air bed in there without too much effort by moving a couple of pieces of furniture but you won't have a divided wall. You might be able to fit the air bed in the jacuzzi room if you are looking for some separation of sleeping areas. Hope you have a great trip.

You all rock!!!!

I figure that I could maybe share the king with my dd, if I bring a little Ambien. ;) Last time we shared a king, she chased me from one side to another, and I didn't get a lot of sleep. My friend and her dd can share, but 5 nights gets kind of long. I figure if anyone shares, it's gonna have to be the girls. And based on our advancing years  , I think us grownups get the beds! (We both single moms, so sharing a bed is a foreign concept to us at this point in our lives.)

This is also our first trip to a 1BR, my dd and I usually stay at a studio. I'm a little afraid that we're going to like it too much.

You will have plenty of room for 2 twin aero beds. If you move the chair next to the pull out to the wall you can fit in one with no problem we do it all the time. The other can go in front of the pull out bed or near where you put the chair when you moved it.
Either way you will have no problems ENJOY:yay: :yay:
