Anyone from or near Oklahoma City are? The DD and I are heading there next week. We will be driving down to Ft. Sill to see my nephew graduate boot camp. We will be staying OKC. So, I am looking for any restaurant recommendations.

Hi Dox! I'm in Edmond, near OKC. If you like Mexican food, I highly recommend Ted's Escondido in OKC.

We travel to OKC for the Big XII Baseball Tournament....

We LOVE Bricktown - Chelino's Mexican.... and the Varsity for Burgers and such.

I would have to refer you to OKC residents for the steak dinner for sure, but my choice would be Coach's at the Bricktown Ballpark.

Can you tell our family is nuts about baseball??? LOL!

For a good steak dinner I would recommend Cattleman's. They are defnitely among the best. I believe that there is one in Bricktown. I know that they have a website so you could try to find that.

If you have time for two meals though I would definitely go for Chileno's. That is my favorite spot in all of the city. When I got back to visit I always have to make at least one trip there.

Just wanted to wish you a safe drive from OKC to Ft. Sill. We live in Lawton (same thing as Ft. Sill essentially), and the highway patrol has been ticketing like crazy lately. Watch your speed!
