Okay you creative people, I need a name.....

I am trying to think of a fun name for a group of fourth graders that complete all homework for the month. What I am doing is, I have a poster with all the names listed, if an assignment is not turned in, I take the name off the list. Those left will receive a special treat at the end of the month, then we start fresh at the new month. I need a fun name for the group......any ideas? My students love word play and wit!

I asked my 15 year old DS to help me. He came up with an acryoym which spelled out LOSER. That's what I get for asking a teenager It was kind of cute though.

How about the Completers? Add the name of your school in front, or the name of your suite/pod/group of classes like the "Bayside Completers".

What about " A Series of Fortunate Events" instead of A Series of Unfortunate Events like the books?


Or to kick off the group why not have a naming event and let the kids as a home work assignment come up with a name and then at the "event kickoff" pick the 5 or 6 that you like and have them vote on it.


Don't let them put names on them makes it easier that way.

How about something from HP like the Griffindor Go Getters. You know when I was in 5th grade we did contract work complete a grade...8-10 assignments was and A, 7-10 was a B, etc. This way you can include more, then you could award certificates or bookmarks etc for different levels ( Order of Merlin, order of Sirius Black etc..get stickers or cards to decorate.)

When I was teaching, I always had a Wall of Fame, where especially good papers were hung. Maybe you could title your poster something like that?
