i was told we could use our points at dis resorts like contemporary yet i cannot find a points chart for the resorts.can someone tell me where to look,please?

Does the Contemporary have "1 bedroom" units? I thought it was just hotel rooms and concierge there. I also thought we could only do the hotel rooms in the wings.

Garden standard ranges from 26-38 points weekdays and 47-68 weekends. There's a Garden view room that's above "standard" and tower rooms. All can be booked on points. The tower rooms are 37-54 and 67-97 with the garden (non standard) about halfway in between. I think we've always been able to book both, just that there's been a differential between the wind (garden view) and tower rooms.

I hope they also told you that using resorts isn't not the best use of your points. There aren't 1 bdrms, they are just regular hotel rooms

I also didn't think we could use the points for anything other than the regular rooms. I do know that the Contemporary has 1 bedroom suites : http://*********************/id29.htm, but I wasn't aware you could use DVC points for these or even concierge at the Contemporary ?

we stayed at the contemp last month (tower concierge-nice!).while we were there we took in the dvc seminar and were told that we could use the points to stay at contemp.that's why i wanted to compare points vs cash.it seems the points way is WAY more than going with cash

It is - DVC wants you to use your points at DVC - not the WDW resorts - so you have your choice a 2-bedroom at a DVC resorts - or a room at a WDW deluxe resort - the moderate are a 1-bedroom.

I have stayed 4 to 5 nights in a DVC resorts - then the last night at a WDW resort (make sure it was a Thursday night) - it works for me.
