Okay, so who hit the stores this morning?

I promised myself that I would not go to any stores today. I sent my dh instead to stand in the freezing cold waiting for the store to open. He went to Walmart and bought a GameCube and a DVD/VCR combo for the kids. He was back at home before 7:00 am!

I made him some hot cocoa and gave him a slice of homemade cheesecake and sent him back to bed.

So how did everyone else do?

DH, DSS, DD and I got up at 5 and hit the stores this AM. This was our first official Black Friday outing. DD kept telling me (as we're standing in the checkout line a mile long at Walmart), "I can't believe I let you talk me into this." He's such a trooper! Sounds like your DH deserves a medal though!

We got some great bargains, especially at Walmart and Staples.

I said we're going to have to make this a family tradition. My family thinks I'm nuts!

I went shopping at Best Buy this morning... sort of. I was watching the news about how crowded the stores were this morning so I did my shopping at Bestbuy.com
