Okay purse snobs! I got a great deal yesterday!

There is a second hand store in town that always has tons of good things to choose from. Eagle Eye and Susan Bristol....Calvin Klein all the way down to Gap, Abercrombie and so on. Well over the years I have found serveral Dooney purses in good condition and one Prada and a Coach.

Well yesterday she was putting out new things and put out a BRAND NEW Kate Spade Striped Purse. It still has the plastic on the handles.....okay are you ready? I only paid $20 dollars for it! I'm so proud!

Yes I'm a name brand purse snob....lol!

You crack me up with your purse snob label! I've had the same black L.L. Bean healthy back bag (which kills my back btw) for three years. I have a bunch of Coach bags under my bed, I can't be bothered digging them out.

LOLOLOL Beauty! I can actually relate to your feeling of joy! When we were in New York City in Sept, I purchased a Kate Spade for around same price $20 or $25 (can't remember) ... although, your probably has better chance of being AUTHENTIC!!!!!

I've got several resale Louis Vuitton sites bookmarked, and am waiting for the right bag to come along...at a price I am willing to pay.

I just don't trust e-bay, and these resale sites I've been to seem safer to buy from.

I am so jealous!! I was excited when I got my Kate Spade for 15% off at a department store...have never seen them on sale anywhere here (or at a resale store). Mine is just solid black but I love it. I have an almost 20 yr old Louis Vuitton bag that looks as good today as when I bought it brand new. I think I got my money's worth on that one

Yep its authentic thats why I'm so shocked!! I actually had a knock off but didn't carry it long....thats one thing about being a purse snob, even though no one else knew it was fake, I KNEW...LOL!!

Louis Vitton....although I've heard of him I haven't seen the purses. I'll have to check them out.

What a great find!!! For those still wondering, Kate Spade is a handbag and footwear designer (mostly sandals). Her handbags have very clean lines, but great and interesting fabrics. She recently came out with a fragrance line. Little bit of trivia-she is married to the brother of actor/comedian David Spade (the show Just Shoot Me)

It just plain black with Mickey on it. It is nice and big though, I need big to hold all my junk, mini bags just don't do it!
