We are going for 7 nights, staying POP, dates Jan. 18th-25th,AP holders. Never stayed at a value before but optimistic. If deals come out for that time of year,(value season), what is the best deal for 2 adults no children? If choices were AP paying for dining plan, free dining, 4/3, public code for % off room. I'm confused by the having to buy park passes when you have an AP and such. Thanks

It will depend on what the % is for the AP discounts, before you can really figure out what the better deal is. The dining plan is going up in 2011, so getting free dining would have more benefit than it usually does. However, I believe that lately with the Free Dining deals, you only get free Quick Service Dining if you are staying at a Value resort (someone correct me if I am wrong).

I don't care for the dining plan, so if it were me, the best deal for me would probably be going with the AP rate and just pay for dining as you go.

But again, you can't really do an accurate comparison until there are real numbers to deal with.

We are two adults, no kids, AP holders and usually go with the AP discount on the room and pay OOP for meals. Lately we have been booking a future stay with the bounceback discount. We have a 20% bounceback at the All Stars for our Oct trip and Dec trip. We got antsy waiting for AP rates.
If we have an AP discount, we can add the dining plan without buying tickets, but if its bounceback, we just pay OOP for meals. We have a Tables In Wonderland Discount Card that gives us 20% discounts on TS restaurants including alcohol, and it is good at the value food courts too, since they don't have a TS restaurant.
You have to be an AP holder or a Fl Resident to purchase the TIW discount card..
