I have been searching through the old posts about backpacks. Everyone seemed to like this Bagallini backpack and some people suggested the healthy back one. Here's my question...for those of you who are larger busted, do you find that sling strap in between to be irritating? I am leery of purchasing the baggalini for this reason and because it is made of nylon. I had a nylon pack before and it got sunscreen/sweat on it from wearing open backed shirts all seven days. Needless to say it was embarrassing... I guess I wish I could find a backpack that is waterproof and lightweight and hopefully a little more sweat resistant

I am as you described and I dont have any problems with a sling style backpack.. I dont have the one mentioned, but I found one at Walmart that I liked before my last trip to WDW and love it.. Its more convenient than the regular backpack.. at least I thought so..

I don't like the bagalinni bags.
I just bought a waist bag at wal-mart that clips around my waist and it has 2 water bottles on each side and pretty roomy on the inside as well.
I got one for me and one for dh. we have 4 people so we can carry 4 drinks with them at a time. I got them in the outdoor dept they were $10.00 and very well made.

The Ameribag "healthy" one does not go between your breasts. You put it over a shoulder, like a regular backpack that everyone carries over one shoulder, only this one is meant to go that way. It's great because I do not want something going right in the middle of my chest either.

I think it's also not as hot on your body, as it doesn't cover as much of you when you're carrying it.

I wouldn't say it's annoying, but it looks kind of funny splitting them up like that.

We were thinking about getting the one from Wal-Mart too, it looked like it would be big enough for everthing we wanted to carry.

And for anyone Pooh sized it would easily fit around :)

I got one at Target and loved it. It was the best "carrier" I have ever used on my many Disney trips. I found it easier to remove when going on rides than the fanny packs. Plus it distributed the weight evenly. I have used a shoulder bag in the past and that thing got so heavy by the end of the day. As for being a larger busted woman, yes, I qualify. I thought I was going to be so self concious of the splitting the "girls" but it was not bad. LOL after a day I was having my picture taken without even removing the sling. I did not have any bare skin on my back. I usually cover up when in the sun so I can not say how it was when I was sweaty/"nekked". I can say it never bled when wet. LOL splash mountain!

If you want a waterproof and lightweight backpack, I suggest this one from LL Bean.

I purchased this myself, and it's pretty cool. It weighs like...nothing, and I put it under my faucet to see exactly how waterproof it was :) I ran the water all over it, and then let it set for awhile to see if the water would seep in. NOTHING! I thought that was pretty cool :)
The bag I'll be using is a backback with a water deal on the inside, but I'm going to take this one as well on those "wet" days. I think you'll really like this one if you got it.
Hope this helps!!

Tam1067, Thanks for letting me know that it goes over one shoulder and not between your breasts. I just hate having something in between there because it just draws more attention to that area. I saw a lady right in front of me at the grocery store today who had one. She probably thought I was a weirdo or that I was checking her out but oh well.... :rotfl: I just had never seen the bag before.

Suezb, I like the look of the stowaway pack on llbean. Does it have compartments inside? Also, is it a normal sized backpack or a mini bag?

Thanks!
