Funny about the scrubs, TigerBear. I worked in a hospital for 8 years, and scrubs do nothing for me! LOL!

Well, maybe its because since he is a psychiatrist I won't ever see him in scrubs otherwise. Or maybe its because I like what is in the scrubs!:p :earseek:

And he wants to do something with Richard. He actually wanted to today, but I put the kabosh on that. Next time.

This would be a tough call to make as a parent. I think it is great that he seems so interested in your son. :D

Really glad to hear your "non-date" (as you like to refer to mine ;) ) went so well Sandy!!!

Haven't seen my "friend" in a week, but we have both been extremely busy... :( Hope we can get together soon!!! Hope I have a night off soon, where I don't have a ton of school work... this semester will be over in 2 weeks!!!!! Yea!!!!!!

Yes, I'll really have to think about it. Right now Richard knows that I met a new friend. When I picked him up tonight at his Godmother's house, he got in the van and said...someone was sitting in the front seat! Usually, I have stuff there...the remote, directions, etc. Last week he came home and said his teacher had told him that he would be a good detective. Well, I guess he proved it again! :earseek:

Oh, it was a date!!! I thought you didn't want to refer to yours as a "date." ;) Are they now "dates?"

When their outings or non-outings last as long as theirs do, their dates!

PW- Sounds like you had a great time. Good for you:D

I like to keep my dd out of my dating life, until I know it will be a serious relationship. She doesn't need to get attached to someone I'm dating, then it doesn't work out. I would like that a date is interested in my child but I wouldn't like him wanting to get involved with my child so fast especially on our very first date!

Good morning, everyone! IS IT COLD ENOUGH FOR YOU?? Here in South Florida...I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZING! I just took the puppies outside...in stocking feet! My feet are now officially frozen. I'd forgotten how cold the pavement can get! I think I'll need to buy a HEAVY coat for Christmas in Virginia! I can't imagine...it's freezing here! :earseek:

It was pretty cold in Florida last night. It felt like 50 degrees. It's now around 70 degrees. Brrr! :)

How was everyone's Turkey Day? I visited my nephew today. His dad said that he is very shy, even around his play groups. He takes a while to get used to people. He takes after one of his uncles. :)

Or how about when there is kissing involved they are definitely dates.

Of course you know everyone is laughing at us, right Barry? But when you're used to temps between 85 and 90 every day, 50 - 70 is cold! ;)

I can see this ONE WEEK Christmas trip to Virginia will end up costing me a small fortune. We went to Sears for portraits to be done today, and while there ended up buying Richard some clothes for the trip. He doesn't own pants except for one pair for school! I ended up getting him 2 pairs of Levi's, 2 long sleeved rugby shirts, and 4 t-shirts he liked on sale. $126 later!! :earseek: And we BOTH will need a coat or jacket. YIKES! :earseek: :earseek: Boots to keep our tootsies warm. :earseek: I'm not thinking of the rest yet. In other words...I HAVE NOTHING FOR WINTER!!!!!!!!! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Hopefully, I can find a nice SINGLE military man while I'm there!! :)
