All the Disneyana collectors that is... Over tha last few weeks I have asked about specific collectables. Well now let's here from everyone that collects any thing DISNEY!!! What fuels your passion for these items? Why do you spend $4.00 to $4,000 dollars for items? What makes DIsneyana so special to you? What emotions does it bring out?

For me it is like owning a piece of the magic and having it with me all the time. I walk down any hall or in to any room in my house and I see something that reminds me of the mouse. I go to work and even in my car.

So what drives your passion for collecting??? It does not matter the size of your collection... For enjoyment can come from one single piece or 5,000 pieces... Come and share with us...

Plain and simple for me.

It is owning a piece of the magic. To know that it was produced by the skillful artists of Disney and used to create something that will be touch others for the next 100+ years gives me goose bumps.

I collect too much! I collect Disney figurines, Disney pins, Disney cookie jars, Disney salt & pepper shakers, Disney watches, Disney clothing and just about anything with Mickey on it. I like all my Disney collections because they make me happy, they remind me of happy things, and after all who can resist smiling when you see a Disney character.

It's the same for me. Whenever I look around and see something Disney it triggers a memory of a trip to WDW. I find it to be even stronger lately, since our last trip in November. It was a trip to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday, and a lot of the family came down, too. It was wonderful after all these years to be able to share Disney World with other family members. Every trip, it seemed that we'd see something in one of the parks or at the hotel and my mother would say "Gee I wish so-and-so could see this, they'd love it." Well, finally this year she had the opportunity to show everyone what she loves about Disney World and enjoy it with them. As big a pain as it was for me planning the trip, I'm so glad we did it.

Anyway, that's why I collect Disney things.
