Okay guys... ties???

Alright, we've heard from the women on work attire. Fellow male DISers... do you wear a tie to work???

I used to wear one every day, but now wear one only for meetings or special events.

I'll answer for my dh. He wears a tie nearly every day. He has some Disney ties that he wears once in a while!

I haven't worn them to work (aside from big meetings or interviews) for years now. I think it was around 2000 or so (two companies ago) when we went business casual.

Can I just say...a man in a tie is very hot. Every man should own at least TWO neckties...

I rarely wear them to work. Only for big meeting, and even then, I may just wear a suit with just a dress shirt, no tie.

I'd say I probably wear a tie to work about 3 days a week.

Interestingly enough, my father taught me to tie a tie, and I have never seen him wear one.

I answered for dh. He has to wear a tie everyday. No exceptions to the dress code.

I don't wear a tie at all, unless I have to present at a corporation or go to a board meeting. Otherwise, it's pretty darn casual here. Besides, can you imagine me in a suit, serving food in a homeless shelter. Not practical.

I did, however, use to have to wear a suit and tie all the time in my corporate days so I have dozens of them. Hated it. Now Joe has claimed them all for himself.

I wear a portable noose (I mean tie) only once in a great while - and yes, I am a Pastor. Thankfully here in Mexico we can be a little less formal, so dress pants and dress shirt are more than sufficient. In fact, the last time I wore a tie was to a funeral I did.
I use to wear a tie to work everyday, but that was a long time ago. I still have a closet full of ties (mostly fun ones), but they don't get much use any more.
