We talked to a travel agent today and were trying to book a trip for Feb and I need help deciding on a hotel. Hojo, Best Western Park Place Inn or Clarion.

Out of those 3, you are likely to hear hojo every single time. Everyone here has been very happy with their stay.

best western park place inn is the closest...i've heard pretty good stuff about them...right near the crosswalk to DL, free continental breakfast, fridge/micro in the room....

Hojo!!! not a bad walk and close to a really good restaurant, Mimi's cafe! Nice pool and kids area too!!

What are your dates? HoJo just posted their Entertainment rate dates for February http://www.hojoanaheim.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14 ; if yours on are on there, that would be hands down the winner. Best offsite hotel within walking distance at that price ($74 deluxe, $59 standard per night). If you do want to try it, don't book through the travel agent, though; call the hotel directly and ask for IN HOUSE reservations; don't let them transfer you to the 1-800 line. They don't know about the Ent rates.

HoJo, but I wouldn't use an agent for the hotel part. Book it yourself for the Ent Rate and save yourself a bundle!! Then have your TA book the rest for you. :)

Ditto to what everyone else has said... Hojo and book it yourself by calling them! We make 5-7 multiday trips each year and once we started staying at Hojo I can't bring myself to stay anywhere else!

I think all three are good choices

Hojo - This is a nice property. The grounds are nice, the pools are nice, many rooms have a private patio or balcony. Only downsides would be proximity to freeway noise & the walking distance to the parks, but a family in shape shouldn't have any problems walking to the parks. I also think they offer top-notch service

Best Western Park Place Inn - closest property to the entrance to the parks, so if that is important to you, then this is a good place to choose. They also offer free deluxe continental breakfast. Pool is small, though, so if that is important you might want to consider

Clarion - Typical hotel that is not too far from the parks. I think it is a nice place, but prefer the other two due to personal preference.

What is the difference in the standard and deluxe room? Are they queen beds?
