Why does my keyboard light go out??
When it does, I always have to reboot to get my keyboard to work...
What do I have to fix??
Do I need a new card??

rebooting does the trick....he'd have the right answer...:jester:

My keyboard kept quitting out on me, then it would work when I rebooted. Then my mouse started doing it. Strangely, getting a new mouse cured both problems.

You're killing me here..
I have a cordless mouse that I WILL NOT be giving up...
If I could get one at work, i'd be set..:o

Try just replacing the keyboard or possibly reloading drivers for it (if you have them, not all do). I'd personally just opt for a new keyboard if yours wasn't too new or too nice.

Unless you have a special keyboard, there are no drivers to load. Borrow a friend's keyboard and see if you have the same problem. If you don't, just pick up a new keyboard. It sounds like the one you have is on the fritz. :(

I have a spare keyboard from my old computer..might try hooking it up....:)
Thanks for the advice..:)

If you have Win 2k or higher, it's a known problem. There is a fix for it on the Microsoft update site.

Just do all of the critical/suggested updates.

Or like jfulcer mentioned, you could always get a new PC.

Either way. :)
