35. After you saw Pee-Wee's Big Adventure you kept saying "I know you are,

>but what am I?"

:rotfl: I remember most of those! I remember watching Pee Wee's playhouse and he said that he loved Fruit Salad and everyone else on the show said, "so why don't you marry it!", so he did, he married his fruit salad :lmao:

All I can say is WOW.... :rotfl2:

and your to blame...you give love a bad name.

It won't go away.....

My name is Mandy and I am a child of the 80s!! Need I say more?

I must be right in the middle. Just about everything from both lists (70's & 80's) describes my life!

AAAHHHH... I love it. I just walked through memory lane.

I'm right in the middle, too. I relate to a lot of things on both lists. :teeth:

Yeah, I fall right in the middle too. I relate to both lists. It's really scary to remember those things and yes, I am still singing that stinkin song!

Oh, and did your Jelly shoes hurt as much as mine did?

13. You wore a ponytail on the side of your head.

Sometimes, just to freak out my friends and family (and when I am in an outrageously silly mood) I still do this....

Inevitably someone will look at me and go.......ohhh Trisha

And yes, Shot through the Heart is still playing in my head.

OMG I laughed out loud at so many of those, especially thinking that Doogie Howser was hot. I used to have this huge poster of him in my room. And hypercolor!

17. You played the game "MASH " (Mansion, Apartment, Shelter, House)

Okay I answered yes to all but this one...what was it ?? :confused3

OK I googled and found this...

I'm wondering when my mansion will be ready. Because in 4th grade, I played a killer game of MASH, and I'm still waiting for any of the results.

MASH, if you were born before 1975, is a TV show about the Korean War. But to anyone younger than 30, MASH is a game that determined our future – where we'd live and in what kinds of houses, what occupations we'd have, what cars we'd drive, and most importantly, what cootie-ridden members of the opposite sex our friends teased us about for the next year.

MASH typically stood for "Mansion – Apartment – Shack – House," though I've heard slight variations. The idea was to have four choices in each category--one wonderful, one tolerable, one awful, and one preferable. Let's say you had five letters in your name, or your birthday was the fifth, or you cheated by placing every bad option in every fifth place. You'd cross off every fifth choice until you were left with one option in each category, which you were then contractually obligated to pursue. Each one of us, at some point, was expecting to be a doctor living in a mansion in Paris with a Lamborghini in the garage. All cootie-ridden members of the opposite sex were equally wonderful and frightening.

Since we were so young, our choices were often limited to the only stuff we'd heard of. The professions were usually things like doctor, lawyer, teacher and garbage man, with teacher being the awful choice (Come on, we were eight!). Cities typically included wherever you were from, followed by a combination of New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, London, and Paris (even though many of us did not know what country housed London, Paris, or Los Angeles). And of course, our cars: ranging from Lamborghinis to station wagons, with little in between. Not many 8-year-olds know much about Camrys or Sentras

Thank you for taking me down the memory lane!

This list cracked me up!!!!! I had the neon yellow shirt over the bike shorts with the t-shirt clip, but the best part was the curled banges that stuck out 3 inches from my forehead with superhold spray with my hair in a pony tail under my hot pink hat and blue eyeshadow! I was cool in my L A Gear hightops! I still crack up at old pictures.

Thanks for starting this thread!!!! :thumbsup2

OMG !! The Oregon Trail!!!!! :rotfl2:

And anyone remember the "Voyage of the MIMI " series in computer class??

Ok... I don't know if these have been posted but:
