where do you have all those baby doll clothes stored? where are all the naked babies (ours never have clothes on them!) where are all the doll baby bottles, brushes, pacifiers???
I have put them in plastic see thru bins but the girls never touch them -the bins are too hard to open by themselves & then the bins are so ugly that I want to hide them in the closet - would like to find another storage solution that the girls could keep up with themselves but wouldn't be hideous in the room either....

My daughter up until a few days ago only had a bitty baby, bitty baby slept in her puffy bassinet from PBKids and the clothes and accessories stayed in the suitcase they came in. Now we have Felicity from American Girl and I think I am going to keep the same system of dolly having a bed and maybe a get a smallish rubbermaid dresser I have seen at Target for any clothes we accumulate.

I think this works because then the doll has a home and doesn't end up on the floor or in a toy bin to get beat up. For toys we have toy bins not a toy box and everything is sorted and visible so we are able to keep the toys pretty organized.

How about putting the clothes in baskets on a shelf? A nice basket can make almost any kind of clutter look neat. And I don't mean the pricey kind- most of the baskets I use come free (like with gift baskets) or from a discount store.

All our babies are stored in a big white wicker basket in the playroom -- dolls, bottles, clothes and other paraphenalia all go in one big basket. We do it the same way for all genre of toys. We have a Little People basket, a food/kitchen items basket, a stuffed animal basket, a dress up basket, etc. Makes it MUCH easier at cleanup time!

Dd has a play room off her bedroom (converted attic space) and she has 2 dressers in there for her American Girl doll stuff and other things but they are mostly all over the floor in her play room. :rotfl2:

DD's babies are all over the living room - one in a high chair, one in a cradle, one in a bouncy seat... so they aren't on the floor. They are all wearing clothes :) and extra clothes get thrown in the playpen which is in the garage until Christmas is over.

Baby bottles are in her kitchen in the refrigerator, of course! ;)

Right now she's only 2, so her dolls stay downstairs where she plays with them all the time. Later I hope they will end up in her room where she has a three basket organizer from Target that would be perfect for doll clothes.

I stopped reading after "ok you organized...."

There are plastic bins that have the flip up lids instead of the snap on lids - those work great! My kids use them for their toys, and they stack nicely in their closets when not in use.

My daughter has 2 drawers in her dresser just for her doll stuff. One is for her Barbies and the other is for their clothes. Works out pretty well for us.

A long long time ago in a galaxy far far away *watching my little girl typing away on the other computer and can't believe she's 20 now* We had three big rubbermaid tubs. One for everything barbie, one for everything baby doll, and one for all those other little dolls. She had two American Girl dolls (I think there were only four then!) but they never were put away. Their stuff was always laid out nicely on her desk. I believe they're now stored in the baby doll rubbermaid.
