Ok, who's made it this far?

Without breaking into the Halloween candy yet?? Mine is still sealed and hidden, although apparently not well. Both DH and DS17 were pestering to break into the candy tonight and I tried to tell them I hadn't even bought it yet but they BOTH knew exactly where it was hidden! I practically had to beat them off with a stick (and promises of leftovers).

This has to be a first for me though, we're usually down a bag or two by now...I just might have to celebrate this amazing self-control by treating myself to a few pieces tomorrow! (just can't get caught by the boys!)

OH, I broke into our stash a few days ago. DH & DD don't know that the bag is open but every now and then I open up the coat closet and sneak a piece

We haven't broken into anything yet which is unusual. This year instead of keeping it upstairs we put it in the pantry downstairs. Since I am the only one to go there it hasn't been touched. If things aren't opened I don't usually touch it. Once it is open I will take one or two.

I broke into mine the day after it was bought. I was in the States and bought some Dum Dums since we don't have them up here. My daughter and I love them so I made sure to buy an extra bag just for us.

DW bought some candy for her office and she brought home the leftovers. The timing couldn't have been worse as I had a very early dinner and started getting hungry around 9pm. There they were...miniature Baby Ruths, Butterfingers, and Reese's PB cups. Oh the humanity

Well, technically I have not but we have been buying Halloween candy just for us to eat for a month or so . The "official" Halloween candy is in a bag in our closet.

Broke mine open today! Was getting my house all ready for our Halloween party tomorrow so my bowls are filled. Haven't snuck a piece yet, but have been stealing from DD7's MNSSHP bag

Last weekend I bought 2 (95pc) bags of chocolate bars and a bag of 360 mini tootsie rolls. This morning I bought a bag of 180 Dum Dum lollipops and a bag of 230 mini chocolates.

Just opened everything up about an hour ago and put it all in the big cauldron that I use to hand out the candy. I took one recee cup and my oldest had 3 of the mini chocolates.

I think the thing that saved me this year is that I waited until a week before Halloween before buying ANY candy. Since we get BOMBED with trick or treaters I always buy TONS of candy (usually in Sept) but I've always had to go out and buy more because we tend to have a piece or two (lol)

Since I just brought mine home from the grocery about 10 minutes ago, so far so good. I won't open it until tomorrow night, but then I will be required to sample one of each ("fun size" Snickers & 3 Musketeers) just to be sure it's "OK."

Our T-o-T was last night, so anything left is air game at this point. And...I am home alone (DH and DD are out of town until late afternoon).

I had 2-kit-kats for lunch!
