The last few trips to WDW we have driven so I could pack anything I wanted..cases of juice, case of diapers, & 2 cases of water bottles..well this time we are fortunate enough to be flying but now I can't pack as much as I would like to

We are on the dining plan & I do not want to waste a snack credit on water when a yummy mickey bar is calling my name! :mickeybar (o.k., o.k., I'll start weight watchers when I get back home! :rotfl2: )

We are not renting a car....Soooo I took a small rolling carryon & packed it with 20 water bottles...It will be empty when we are ready to leave so I'll get to fill it with sovineirs :hyper: Am I nuts? :rolleyes1
My Dh thinks I am!

Is there anyone else who does this??

Even worse then that, my boyfriend is planning on bringing two 30-packs of Coors Light so he doesn't have to waste money on beer... now that's going to be embarassing when we check-in at the airport.. we are going to look like alcoholics! Cheap ones too because it's not even like Coors Light is expensive!

I don't pack bottled water, but I do buy 2 cases as soon as we land in Florida. I can't vacation without it.

I stopped taking water with me when I found out I could get water at Disney for free. It is tap water and doesn't always taste the best except for the land. That water tastes like spring water for some reason, it is very good. Anyhow it is a lot easier than carrying a water bottle or a Brita bottle all day.
Have a great time, I just got back and there are no crowds.

Why don't you just buy it when you get there? I've been doing that for years (I can't handle FL water, makes me sick as a dog) Or have Wegoshop deliver it?

I agree why waste my snack credits on water. I packed my own for the trip last week. I got a case of 24 ounces sport bottles of Ice Mountain. I left them in the case and then put them in a garbage bag. I also put them in a suit case of just clothes so that if it did leak they would just dry out. Don't let your suit case go over 50 lbs. it is easy to do when you pack water. I also packed 2 4 packs of red bull. The other thing is when it is time to go home your have room for all the stuff you bought.

I ordered a case of bottled water thru NetGrocer and they had it waiting at the hotel (POR) when I arrived.

You are not weird. I'm on the dining plan in February. I don't drink soda but I won't drink Dasani water (which is what Disney carries) so I make a grocery stop on our way to the Lodge and buy water. Granted, why waste an opportunity for a Mickey Bar or a Rice Krispy treat on water run through a sock in Riverside.

I checked a rolling 49lb ;) cooler. I froze my water and had ice cold water my whole trip. :teeth: I used DME so I didn't have to worry about lugging a heavy cooler around. :cool1:

I packed an extra suitcase with bottled water and snacks. I figured I would check it as any other suitcase. This way on the way home we have one empty suitcase for all those souviners. Works for me!

CBR 10/05 First Family trip

I havent brought it b4 , but since this trip is magic your way (i wont have to drag the heavy water bag!) I`m bringing a separate dufflebag with a case of water in it! Hope i dont have one huge wet dufflebag when it arrives in my room, u know how careful the airlines r with your luggage! LOL

Now I'm really worried!
I am not packing water but with my luck my suitcase will be under yours and when your water bottle break,my luggage will be soaked!
Have fun at Disney everyone!

Oh well! Guess it would be better to have water leak
all over my luggage than BEER! :earseek:
