Ok where to stay when...

Here's the criteria:

• west coast beach
• spending 1 day at bush gardens
• attending a Rays baseball game
• leaving from Tampa airport

Was thinking Anna Maria, Clearwater, Siesta Key.

So the queston is what would be fairly close to my criteria, but is an amazing beach. Specific resort recommendations would be great.

There will be 3 adults and 2 kids (6 & 7).

If you are looking to stay on the Gulf Coast, Siesta Beach is the best beach! The sand there is amazing and the beach is clean and safe. I would highly recommend Siesta Key!

I'd suggest the Don CeSar in St. Pete Beach. It will give you the best resort/best location combo of all your prerequisites.

St Pete: Tradewinds, Sirata, or Postcard Inn. These all share the same beach as they are really close to each other.

I wouldn't recommend Don Cesar with kids. Plus, rooms are overpriced and small. Tradewinds is the same beach.

What is Treasure Island like, I was looking at Surf Beach Resort as it is a 2 bedroom condo. What's the beach like? Any similiar suggestions?
