OK what's a HOUSEPARTY?

I keep seeing threads about these various houseparties- how do you sign up? How are you selected? It sounds like fun- please fill me in!

It is alot of fun!!! You just go to houseparty.com and see if there are any you are interested in and if so you apply to have a party!! If you are selected you get all kinds of free stuff!! I have done quite a few from hair color to photo books! Its great and my friends and I always have a great time!!!

do you have to jump through lots of hoops too, or just have a party? How do you prove you had a party? What if not a lot of people show up to your party? I have my first party coming up, and feel clueless still!

I'm with the PP. I'm hosting the Oscar Meyer Thrill of the Grill party on Saturday. This is my first house party and I'm clueless. Do I have to do all that stuff on their website like invite guests via their site and post pictures of my party? Do they follow up with everyone after the party date?

when you accept to host a party you state you will post on the houseparty page about your party if you don't want to post you don't have to but the more you post the better your chances for another party after your party you will be emailed a survey some parties have a special host come out to your party they really just want you to spread the word on a product how you do it is up to you remember the more you participate the more parties your invited to host

Thank you, hearts8701. I'm always a bit apprehensive when I try something new. I'm looking forward to the party. I think the kids will really like the Oscar Meyer toys. I went out today and got the hotdogs to grill.
