Ok, what do you think of this waitlist request??

Ok, our return flight in December from WDW was cancelled and we were rescheduled for an earlier flight.

Always looking for an opportunity, I called the airline and they are willing to rebook us on the flight the next day at no additional charge, thereby extending our vacation a day. We are staying at OKW in a 1BR. Of course, they have no availibiity right now and I'm waitlisted. It's December 11. I JUST went on the waitlist - do you think this will come through??

The airline tells me I need to rebook within the next week to get this deal.... Whaddya think???

I would take the deal, make a cash reservation someplace (even offsite if necessary) to CYA and hope the wait list comes through. Good luck, Jeff!

I'd take the deal too. You can make a cash ressie off site and hang at OKW and WDW until late at night. Then check into your off site hotel for the night.

I agree with the others. If you don't mind getting back a day later, take the deal. Book something offsite as a back up and hope the waitlist comes through.

It's also a good opportunity to do something besides Disney. For example, we're going to see what Cypress Gardens has to offer for the Holidays. I'm told it has a beautiful poinsetta display and a huge nighttime light show all its own.

Man, I guess I didn't need to do all that worrying - Disney called me today and told me the waitlist came through for this day.

WOW! One Day Waitlist - gotta love it!

Now I just need to get that point transferred into my account so I can book it - they are keeping it on waitlist hold until Tuesday. Woo hooo! Now I don't have to go offsite.
