So excited. We just booked our flights for a February trip that will be the first visit for my kiddos! I went with my husband years ago, but am thrilled to see DL and DCA through their eyes. I'm wondering if we should just plan on getting maxpass, I don't know how crazy things are with SWGE and the fact that the Rise of the Resistance ride will be opening in Jan. Thoughts on that?

Thanks!!

How old are your kids? Are they tall enough for all the rides? Remember that the FP system at DLR doesn't include all the rides, so if your kids don't/won't ride most of the rides on the FP system, it might not be worth the expense. But at least you or your husband should get MP just for the PP perk. And MP can always be purchased day of after you activate your tickets, so you can play it by ear once you arrive at the parks. February can be a time of ride refurbs, so you'll want to make sure that any FP favorites aren't going to be down during your trip dates -- if several faves will be down, that might be a deciding factor in whether you purchase MP. And no matter what, regular FP still works just fine in the parks!

Such great thoughts!! We just got back from WDW and they're both tall enough to ride all the rides (except primeval whirl i think) - so they hit all the headliners! I hadn't thought about weighing the maxpass on what rides are down for refurb - tremendous advice!

Get Maxpass, if only for the photo pass. If your kids are around the 7-8 range, they can utilize FP as they can ride almost all the rides (if they are toddlers etc, then FP isn't necessary for them, since they can't ride many of the rides)

Do you have any toddlers? I'd recommend renting a stroller from City Stroller. They deliver to your hotel. Also I like lansky transportation, because they are one of the few that have vehicles that come with car seats.
