Ok we are staying at Carribean Beach Resort... advice?

What are the procedures to request a specific section? I would prefer Martinique or Trinidad North, but don't know what I can or can't ask for. Should I call now and put in a request or wait until I check in?

If you would like to a request a certain section at CBR call CRO and have them note it on your ressie...it is not a gaurntee though...also it doesn't hurt to ask at check in.

I don't know if you booked a preferred location or not, but if you did you do not need to call in a request because you will be in either Martinique buildings 24, 25, 26 or Trinidad North buildings 31,32,33. If you would like to gaurntee yourself one of those buildings there is an additional charge of $15 per night.

If you are looking for a building that is centerally located might I suggest Jamaica Bldgs 45, 44, 46 in that order. I stayed in 44 on my last two trips and the walk to the foodcourt/main pool was about 6 minutes and the walk to the bus stop was like 2 minutes. If you have kids those buildings are close to the playground in Jamaica as well. I hope that helps

Do they let you make requests without paying the extra $15 per night? Sort of like a preference but I really don't mind not getting that certain room. Which rooms/buildings should I be requesting?

I'm not sure on this, but I think you would almost have to ask for an upgrade to one of the preferred buildings when you check-in. As far as what rooms/bldgs to request I think it depends on what you want to be close to!
