OK...To Get it Straight..Do APs Expire

on the day you activated them of midnight the day before. I will activate my APs Aug. 21, 2014. Will I be able to get in the parks with them on Aug. 21, 2015 or is Aug. 20, 2015 the last day?

If activated on Aug 21, 2014 then they will expire AFTER the operating date of Aug 21, 2015. In other words, you will be able to enter the park on Aug 21, 2015.

Kind of confusing but the APs actually cover one year + one day of operation so that the expiration date is the last day that you can use it. Renewals will just add 1 year of operation so if you renew on Aug 21, 2015 or 30 days after, you'll get Aug 21, 2016 (which you can also enter that day).
