we finally found some we liked. We got snapdragons, petunias, pansys, dahlia's, marigolds, geraniums, begonias and something else cant think of what and a silver mound plant. They are all planted and we bought edging which I put in tonight. With any luck I can get it pounded down better tomorrow and get it mulched. Mulch is on the porch just waiting for me to put it in. Now just the window boxes!!!! Oh and the vergetables but we are still not sure where we are putting those yet!!

Sounds like it going to be lovely. I always love an annual garden, something I've gotten away from.

Little by little over the years I've replaced my annual gardens with perennials, bulbs and flowering shrubs. Yet an annual garden will always turn heads when in bloom. I do add a few annuals for color, a few marigolds, impatiens, verbena and dianthus.

Sounds beautiful Holly. This year I got some impatiens, verbena that I'm going to give a try, pansies for an old watering can that I plant, alyssum (white), and something else that is escaping me.

In my flower boxes on the patio I planted a couple of white verbena with 8 different purples of Violas. I can't wait until I can actually sit out there and enjoy them.

Now all I have left to do is plant my annuals in the front of the house (the ones above but it's been too rainy) and get some plants for my planters for my porch. I usually get geraniums for there and this year I'm hoping to get a couple of the Plants for a Cure from Lowe's and put those in there. I get one for my mom's grave and need to get that planted and take it down this weekend.

ok it is mulched!!! now for a shower. It rained last night and the front of the bed faces a hill so in order to work in the bed you have to be on the hill. needless to say I am a little on the muddy side right now.

It's too early for annuals here...we have a frost warning tonight. :confused3

I do plan on using alot of annuals for fill this year. All these new beds will need the color.

How about some pictures! I'd love to see your gardens.
