Hi, Delo4. So sorry you've lost your Mom. What was her favourite thing to do on her cruises? Did she have any favourite destinations or keepsakes? I'm thinking you might tie that in to your gift somehow, even if it's just the timing of your gift-giving. I hope you have a wonderful cruise, even though your loss is painful.

I'm sure the house keeping staff gets enough goodies from all their guests that give it to them.we are turning them into diabetics.

I bet only a small percentage of guests actually leave things for the housekeeping staff. It may seem, by reading this board, that tons do but the Dis does not make up a huge portion of cruisers on any given cruise...yes, special itineraries seem to have tons of Disers but a regular cruise...probably a smaller percentage than you think. Also, goodies don't have to be candy.

Thank you. Her favorite thing was just sitting on the deck enjoying the view and being with her family. Castaway Cay was the highlight of the cruise for her.

This cruise will be bittersweet. We have many memories of cruising with her, but we know she would love that we are all going (our kids and grandkids as well) and because we plan on doing special things to remember her, would have made her very happy.
