Ok, so, if I have a 1 bdroom at BLT

I have a Lake View One Bedroom unit and I definitely want to see the fireworks from the balcony, I have to request an upper floor, even number, on the north side of the building, right? Is 3 requests too many??

Three requests are a lot...you should put them in priority order. And of course, they are just requests. Worst case you get none of them and just have a view of beautiful Bay Lake.

Start with the even number, then north side, then upper floor. And there is always the whatever it's called on the top.

Good luck with your room. We lucked out with our first trip to BLT, we had a dedicate 2 bedroom and had one of the last rooms at the end of the hall north. We could see the fireworks from our sofa. From the master balcony we could see Space mountain perfectly and it seemed like the fireworks went over in that direction. If you just looked to the left over the balcony there was the castle. We loved the location, plus we were on the 9th floor so when you walked in the room all you saw was water out the big pix window. It was beautiful.

I believe our room was xx04. Our next trip this coming June we are in a 1bedroom standard. I am going to try to get 5th floor over on that side.

I can't remember the numbers (check work2play's thread), but I requested a room ending in x or y (maybe 10 or 12) and got one of the closest to MK lake views. I'd request the room numbers instead of north. Seems like I've read reports of some getting even # rooms on the south end.

I have had even number, south end, and it is also really nice! You can watch the boats,and the Electrical light pageant, and the monorails go by. Right below you can see the outside movie screen if you look down. North might be "better", but south is nice too. We could see fireworks, but I guess they were from either Epcot or the Studios.

I would do even number, upper floor, and north last. But that is just me!

If you "definitely want to see fireworks from the balcony", you should have booked theme park view, not lake view. What happens if your request can't be granted and you are facing the Contemporary marina?

I understand about saving points and not wanting to use them for a MK view. If you do not get a view of the fireworks from your balcony you can always go to the TOWL and go out on the roof top balcony or the bridge that connects BLT to CR. The bridge is a great vantage point to see not only the fireworks but the EMP.

Same here, I requested Even # north side, but we are a 2 br. If it doesn't work out, I hope for the floor the bridge connecting to CR so I can avoid the elevator.

Just an FYI, we have sat by the glass in the one elevator waiting area at night just staring at all the twinkling lights of the MK. If your room is close to the elevator, you could watch the fireworks from there, although you won't hear the music with it.
