 Sorry, I don't know what your talking about. I'd help if I was able :(

To cash in for webcertificates - you just go to Spend Points and if you can't find them, try looking under Quicklist by Partner. I believe that once it is processed (which takes anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks) you will get an email saying that you have your webcert. Then, i think you have an account with webcertificates.com and you can add to it, or else spend from it. You can order a plastic card from that site, but not from Mypoints.

I think that Disney Dollars can only be purchased from Disney stores - most people have said that in order to do that, you need the plastic card for the webcert, but some have had success with just a printout of the number.

Hope that is helpful!

When you are ready to cash out at a rewards program ifthey offer the option to cash out for a webcertificate you just choose that option. Once you have you wait until you receive the email containing the webbie then click on the link to Web cert. Once you set up your acct. you can order your Plastic card.(some people don't do this but I got mine when they were only $5 so it was worth it for me)

No you can not order DD online

Hope that helped.

You mean getting them from MyPoints? Go to Spend Points, and the way I always find them is Quicklist by Partner. Scroll down to the end and click on Webcertificates. Click on the amount you want, either $10 or $25. If you want $50 or $75, etc., click on the $25 link. The rest of the steps I can't remember off-hand, but you should be able to figure it out as you go along. If you want more than one, there's a place to change the quantity. The first time I cashed in for Webbies, I had enough points for $75, so I "ordered" three $25 ones at once. Remember to bookmark the last page (Spend Points Order Tracking Page) were it tells you to--this is the only way you will be able to check on the status of your order to see when it's "Shipped."

If things go the way they have been lately, expect the Webbies to actually be "shipped" around mid-May (March it was the 19th, this month it was the 17th). They seem to order them in batches regardless of when you cash in. The first ones I got, I cashed in for on March 10th, so you do need to allow some time for processing. The second one I got, I cashed in for on March 26th. So if you're ready to cash out, go ahead and do it.

Okay, once they've "shipped" allow a 7-10 days for them to "arrive." You will get an email FROM MyPoints that says: "Your MyPoints Webcertificate from MyPoints!" Inside will be a link to redeem your Webbie, and from there you can set up your account with Webcertificate.com.

Once you've set up your account, you have to call Webcertificate to get the plastic card. The customer service number is: (800) 511-1781. I think this is the right number to call. They will charge you $6.95. For me, they just took it out of my Webbie account.

You cannot order Disney Dollars online. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. But I think if you could, everyone wouldn't worry about printing out their Webbie info and hoping the cast member will run it through at the Disney Store.

You could use your Webbie account to order anything else online from anyone that accepts MasterCard.

Have I answered all your questions? Have any more?

I see a few people beat me to a reply while I was composing my long-winded essay. LOL!

Can I add money to this-do I just call customer service to do this?

Thank you for all your help!!! Its very appreciated!

Add funds to your Webcertificate account? Sure. You can do it online with a credit card. But they will charge you a 2% fee of whatever you add.

Also there are dormancy fees if you don't have any activity on your account after, I believe, 6 months. It's $3/month until you use the account or add funds or there's no money left. Or cash in for another Webbie.

I had a big post here a week or two ago about all the "fine print."

You might want to look for it, or just read all the FAQ's and everything on the webcertificate site.

cool I'll look for the fine rint post...thanks for all the info...I guess it will be best to cash out when I have enough points for large webbies...sounds like the best idea.

Thanks for your help!

jlp651,
I would not wait until I had a large number of points in my rewards accounts. I would cash out for a webbie as soon as I have enough points. There are several reasons for doing this:
  • Rewards programs go under with no warning, leaving you with nothing.
  • Rewards programs raise the number of points required to cashout with no warning, leaving you with less for your efforts.
  • Rewards accounts have been known to get hacked in the past, giving someone else a reward for all your hard efforts.

As long as you continue to add some thing to your WC account, there will be no dormancy fee applied. So, if you claim a webbie every 6 months, or add to your account every 3 months, or make a purchase every 3 months you will suffer no losses. I've had an account for 3 years and I have never had a fee taken out due to inactivity.

From Webcertificate.com's FAQ's:

*Account Dormancy Fee: A fee will be applied to Inactive** accounts after the 6 month anniversary date. The charge will be recurring each month unless the account becomes active or the balance of the account is $0.00.
Inactive**- An account which meets the following criteria:
  • It's been 6 Months since the last Webcertificate was claimed to the account.
  • There have not been funds added to your Webcertificate Account in last 90 days
  • There have not been a purchase made with your Webcertificate in last 90 days

An account must meet all three criteria in order to be consider to be "inactive".

cool...thanks for clearing that up mad4themouse! all this help is greatly appreciated.

Obviously webcertificates keeps an account-but say I have 2 reward programs going -I like My Points and Lucky Points...my MP account is going to get me a webbie before LP is...will I be able to have just one card or am I going to end up with two by the time I am done?

no you will only have one if that is what you want.

Your Webbie come in email form and you put them in the account of your choice.
