I know that the sheets/towels / and trash get cleaned once during a 7 day stay (day 4 usually)... I'm assuming though that on your very first day, you walk in to a clean room no matter when it was was last cleaned.... yes? I mean it would have to be that way, right? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Anyone?

Mousekeeping cleans each room after the last guest checks out/before new guest checks in.

You don't get sheets, just towels and trash on day 4 of a 7 day stay. On an 8 day stay you get full cleaning on day 4.

I presume you are saying that on your check in day that the room is cleaned before you go into it? I guess your concern is that someone might check out on say sunday and it is cleaned and not occupied for several days before you check in?

One, I don't think that rooms would sit empty for a long period of time, occupancy is not that low and usually most rooms are turned the same day. Second, if they aren't, I don't see the room getting dirty in a 24-48 hr period before you would arrive...if it was out of service for longer than that, it would probably be due to a maintenance issue and I am sure they would clean it before putting it back in service.

When I got into the room at BWV at about 5:30 pm earlier this month, the dishwasher was still running, so I have to assume that mousekeeping had been there very recently. (When it was done, I opened it. It was empty. I assume that mousekeeping always runs it as part of cleaning the room? I can't imagine that a guest checking out would run an empty dishwasher.)
