Got back home late last night. Whoa...what a trip. Aside from the MAJOR humidity, the trip was awesome.
Being that the Extra Magic Hours happened at the parks, I never made it to Pleasure Island/Boardwalk at night. It's all good. It will give me something to look forward to next year. lol I already received discounts on resort accomadations in my Email. lol
Noticed some things this go around:
1. a particular evening shift concierge at Pop Century was not the nicest and got quite snappy with an answer - but I got over that.
2. The Nightastic show had Pete's Dragon featured (Awesome!) but was amazed how many people never heard of it.
3. The Fairy Godmother and Cinderella's step sisters didn't wear those character heads anymore. Why not?
4. Monorail bar crawls could be fun if the bars stayed open longer. Almost everything closes down at 11pm at the Polynesian Resort. What? I thought this was a vacation retreat? Bars shutting down at 11pm? ???
5. Even though you might think you have comfortable sneakers...think again...blisters all over
6. I repeat --> August = MAJOR humidity
7. Disney Bus Transportation - Realized the bus drop-off/pick-up locations are based on the resort type, Deluxe, Moderate, Value. Pop Century was 99.5 % located in the last section. Ugh...
8. PARENTS ---> PLEASE supervise your kids! It's unbelievable how clueless some parents can be.
