OK - now it is my turn for help with a shower gift :)

Do they still do that with the 20% off? that's a pretty good deal! But I still think its kind of unfair not to have smaller priced items on your registry as well KWIM? I'm not going to go out and spend 120$ on my coworkers.. that's just me. More power to ya if you can do that for everyone!:thumbsup2:flower3:

I wont use the drymax either.. we only use baby dry. When my other son was in diapers (many many moons ago!) he had a chemical burn like they are talking about from luvs :confused3 then it was all diapers :scared1: so we had to use cloth.. only good thing about that was he was trained by 22months my 19m old is just starting to use the potty but he's not nearly as easy has his brother was.. I gotta hand it to cloth diapers.. they rock for early potty training!

When we registered for DD, who is almost 3, they did the % off. Not sure if they still do though.....I totally agree that there should be a range of prices on a registry. We had lots of small things like bowls, spoons, bibs, burp cloths etc. We also didn't register for a big high chair.....it takes up too much space and since I exclusively nursed for 6 months, by the time DD was ready for cereal, she was strong enough to sit on the seat that fits on a regular dining room chair....plus it was portable. There's so much crap out there that you don't need either but everyone tells you it's a must :sad2:

I didn't even bring the swing up from the basement this time around.. :confused3 I finally found someone to give my jumperoo too.. so many kids LOVE this thing.. mine didn't. I have a bounce and spin zebra I need to donate somewhere asap the kids use it as a spring board to go over the couch.. not exactly was it was intended for but it works! My grandmother bought me a nice high chair for my dd9 I'm still using it today! Now the seat cover was torn somewhere along the way so I found a person on ebay who makes replacement ones. I have a cute lightning mcqueen cover for it! I didn't bring that up til this one (I say that with love) was over a year old.. he nursed more than he ate til at least 9 months.. now he's a little piggy..

It sounds to me like your heart really isn't into this. If so, don't go. As for the gift, I really don't believe in giving gifts to be politically correct. If a gift isn't from the heart, it shouldn't be given. That being said, if you really feel you need to give one, give what you want to give. Gift registries are supposed to be about making things easier for the gift givers and to prevent duplicate gifts. They have really gotten out of hand, IMHO.
