I wish that was the case but unfortunately there are at least 30 cars in the water and dozens of missing people out there.....they have at present suspended the recovery mission because the water is so murky and there is so much debri in the water...

Again? They stopped it last night too.

It would be hard for them to keep searching in the dark with only flashlights and other types of lights.

My thoughts are with everyone in Minnesota. I have family not far from there and had family vacationing there this week. My Grandfather, Aunt, Uncle, and 3 cousins drove over that bridge the day before it fell. It is terrible. Many and lots of to everyone affected.

Yeah last night they had to stop because even in daylight the water of the Mississippi is very dark so they couldn't continue after dark for the safety of the rescue workers. Today they went out to try to search but the water was much too rough around all the debris so they are having to find out other ways of trying to get in there and begin the recovery again and clear out the bridge.

Yes right now it does sound like things were very lucky with only the 4 deaths being reported but they currently are only counting those that were actually recovered and accounted for. Unfortunately as soon as they begin the recovery that will climb. At this time they are assuming that all survivors have already been rescued I am glad to hear that so far nobody here has been directly affected and that those of you who had family on that bridge that it didn't happen when they were. The people who have been affected by this will need lots of pixie dust to get through what is yet to come.

New reports today. Bad news: is up to 5 confirmed deaths. Good news: The list of the missing went down so might not be as many more to add on to that total eventually as first thought.
