The stroller that I was dead set on getting is $300 (Peg Perego Pliko P3) and I am not wanting to spend that much money....so anyone have the next best thing for around $150 or less.....Would love some input, I am just wanting something that is comfortable for my DS (2 yo and weighs about 27 lbs) and has a basket underneath....would love some input from you guys out there...Thanks so much.

I own two Maclarens and love them. You can pick up either the Maclaren Volo or the Triumph for less than $150. I have also owned a Pliko, but found it to be much bigger and heavier than the Maclaren (consigned it after a year and bought my second Maclaren). HTH!

AWESOME...Helps out tons....thanks a bunch....think I will be getting a Maclaren...that was my next choice after the pliko.....

I have two Maclarens - one umbrella (not sure of the model) and the Twin Traveller. I LOVE them both - Lightweight & very sturdy!!!

I love my Combi! It's been to China twice and is very easy to open and close. I can do it while holding my 2 year old!

I love my Combi as well. We bought it just for our last WDW trip and it was perfect. I don't know how I lived without it for so long. :)

I just bought a Chiico twin and love it. It has baskets and umbrella fold and it holds up to 40 pounds per seat. It also has full recline, canopies and adjustable footrests. I know they have a few single models as well and they are way cheaper then what you were looking at.

I just bought the Maclaren Quest a couple of months ago and I absolutely LOVE it. I was really second guessing myself spending that much on a stroller but I'm so glad we did. The handles are high enough that it's easy to push. It rolls great everywhere we've taken it (malls and sidewalks). It does have a basket - it's kind of small and I'm thinking of getting an organizer for the back but it's not too bad. It folds really small for Disney buses :) Oh - and it reclines....and seems to be really comfortable since DD slept in it at the mall yesterday and she hasn't done that since she was a teeny tiny baby. And the last time I checked Albeebaby still had them for $129.99 and free shipping.

Definitly check out the Chicco Caddy. They have it Babies R US and Yahoo shopping for around 50.00. That is the one I am getting. I made the mistake of bringing a full size stroller on my trip to Ft Lauderdale. It was combersome and took up alot of room, and a pain to get on the airport shuttles. The Chicco folds up and will go in its own bag. It only weighs like 11 lbs or something.

Hi, albeebaby has the P3 in one pattern for $219 w/free ship..albeebaby .. anyhow, add me to the Maclaren votes. I just picked up a Volo last week for our trip. It is like my 3rd stroller purchase for this trip and DH is ready to send me packing. So many people have raved about this stroller and I had always thought, no way could I justify $100 for an umbrella stroller.

Last week, I was in Baby's R us and figured I'd take a closer look. Besides that they had the Magenta colored one. Totally cool color! Anyhow, I was absolutely impressed! I had my almost 4 yr old with me and I loved how it came up high enough in the back for his head to rest nicely unlike a lot of other strollers. Plus, the weight limit goes to like 51 lbs! My 7 yr old isn't even 51 lbs! It folds and handles perfectly, and has a carry strap. It is a pleasure to push.

I did buy the acessorie kit online when I got home for $39 that comes with a padded seat cover, rain shield and bag to carry the shield and seat cover in. I could of just went with the Triumph, but didn't need the recline since my other stroller has recline and the Volo seat came up a bit higher.....Plus the color of the Volo rocked! If you are looking for a stroller for your 2 yr old the Volo would be a great bet.

We used two maclarens for our last trip to DL, I won't be doing that again!

There is very little storage space on the Maclaren and if you have something hanging off the handles it needs to be removed before you let the child out or the whole thing will go tipping backwards. And the sun shades are pathetic, I ended up buying extra shades at $30 a piece so my girls had more shade!

I'm just not a huge Maclaren fan, I know a lot of people are and I've owned several, but I always get rid of them pretty quickly too, for the same price you can get one that's a little more heavy but with a lot more features.

I love my Combi! I have owned the Savvy since my first son was he was 8 mos. old - 7 years now! I just purchased a new one and I love it! I got the deluxe edition - it reclines fully (a must for my 2 yo) and my favorite feature ... it has a tri-fold design that is wonderful for Disney transportation! I took my Peg Pergo last time, never again! It was bulky and really hard to get on the busses. I'd definately recommend the Combi!

Among the strollers I own currently are a much older Combi Savvy (purchased for DS now 7 yrs), a Maclaren Volo and a Peg Perego P3. The Combi is much harder to push with older/heavier kids. By the time my son was 3.5 yrs, his feet could drag on the ground and it was hard to push. For bigger kids/taller parents, Maclarens are probably a better choice. But, both Combis are Maclarens are tippy. When loaded down on the handles, they can fall backward if the child gets out of the stroller. The P3 is not tippy and has that great step feature that a second child can stand on. And it has a wonderful sunshade and the Maclaren and Combi sunshades are not so great. So....neither stroller is perfect. The P3 is heavy and bulky...but it has some great features, especially for a younger child who still naps and will be in the stroller alot. For an older child,a Maclaren is probably better.

Something similar in weight to the P3 so it won't be tippy but a smaller umbrella fold like a Maclaren, would be the Zooper Z-Street. Here's a link to an Epinions review:

There were some closeouts on Ebay recently but I don't see any right now. They were around $110 shipped. This is an older model and I don't believe that the newer models get as favorable reviews.

Another one to consider might be the Britax Preview:
