My Sister & I are travelling to Orlando this October and we need at least a 2 bedroom condo. We are planning on doing all of the parks but mainly Disney.

I have narrowed our accommodation down to 6 resorts:

Wyndham Bonnet Creek
Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa
Sheraton Vistana Resort
Sheraton Vistana Villages
Parc Soleil Hilton GVC - Cons - Expensive! Where could I look for possible cheaper rates?
Cypress Point Resort - Cons - Has 2 single beds in 2nd bedroom so would need to rent a 3 bedroom unit. Having trouble finding one though.

Where is the best place to stay in your opinion and why?

You could join TUG2.net (the timeshare users group) for $15 per year and read tons of reviews about each of these resorts.

When all the resorts are pretty good, I often pick based on what kind of deal I can get on TUG2.net classified ads section or Redweek.com for the week I plan to visit (rental from a timeshare owner vs. retail rental to save $s)

Hi!

I've not stayed at all of the resorts you mentioned, but I've stayed at a couple and visited a couple. The one like I liked the best is Hilton Park Soleil, it's not considerably close from either Disney or Universal Studios, and the resort is really nicely done. It has a "hotel" type of feel.... and enclosed walkway/hallway....some of the resorts you listed have exposed hallway, which in my opinon sometimes has more allergens from the wind/dirt blowing constantly.....

Wyndham Bonnet Creek - I've not stayed here before, but I've visited it. The location is great, and if you want to be really close to Disney, then I would pick this one.

Lake Buena Vista Resort & Spa - I've never visited or stayed here.

Sheraton Vistana Resort - I've never visited or stayed here.

Sheraton Vistana Villages - I've stayed here a couple of times,
and I really like it here. This would probably be my 2nd choice. Each phase as a different theming, and the later stages are really well built as well.

Cypress Point Resort - This is an older resort, and many people love it.

My family and I have stayed at Cypress Pointe Resort, Sheraton Vistana, Vistana Villages and Wyndham Bonnet Creek. Bonnet Creek and Cypress Pointe are best if you plan to spend most of your time at WDW parks. All 4 are nice resorts but if were to rate them I would rank them as such - Bonnet Creek, Vistana Villages, Cypress Pointe and Sheraton Vistana.

Wow so you vote Cypress Pointe over Vistana Resort!

I figured CP would be last :goodvibes

CPR has the better location & the units have just had new renovations. By the way the twin beds are gone in the 2nd bedroom. Queen sized bed now. (for a few more months the twin/ trundle is an option but only until Sept 2011 when all units will have been renovated).

Great, thanks :thumbsup2

I was a little concerned that the renovations would still be going on when we arrive in October.

I am looking at these 2 resorts as they are the cheapest out of all the resorts I have looked at.

Could people please add their opinions on which resort they think is better?

Many thanks :goodvibes
