Have to admit, as a kid, I drank the sour pickle juice out of the jar alot:crazy: I love sour pickles, and If I didnt know better, I might just sneak a swigg of the juice too.

Is your mouth WATERING NOW:teeth:

I love dill pickles too and I have to admit that I have stooped to drinking some of the juice!

I love kosher dills; my favourites are Strubs dill pickles but I like Bick's hot pickles too (not sure if these companies distribute in the USA; might just be in Canada). I love to sit down at the end of the day, have my green tea (I'm Japanese Canadian), eat pickles and read a good book!

I love Japanese and Korean pickles too; they're often very salty with a soy sauce taste or a garlic/chili taste that's irresistable, and often I can't help but have the juice too!

Glad to see I'm not the only in the world who has done this!

I must admit that I have........but I was very young. Sounds ICKY now.

And Green tea and pickles.......lol that sounds icky to me too...sorry.

My brother used to do this to totally gross me out.:crazy2:

Now that I think about it, he did it straight from the jar. Ewwww! Backwash!

I love sour pickles. Have been known (in younger years) to drink the juice (too much salt for me now :( ).
Used to have pickle sandwiches a lot :)

Read somewhere about some southern thing to have pickle juice snow cones. True?

I had some just the other night, clearing the table after dinner. My daughter dared me to drink some, then I got double dog dared.
I'm a sucker for a double dog dare.

Of course, that wasn't the first time I tried it, but it was the first time I drank the whole jar.

Mmmm...pickles...I love them!! I've never drank their juice though. But I did (and still do) drink the juice from green olives. John hates that because he likes to save the juice for martini's!!

YUM! I love Claussen pickle juice. It is so salty, though, I can never drink much at a time.

Yes, I have. If you really want a kicked up snack;), put some chips in a bowl, then pour some pickle juice on the top of them. YUMMY! I also love to put a little bit of pickle juice on my veggie burgers before I microwave them.:hyper:

I love pickles, but haven't drunk the juice.

However, the juice left in the cherry jar is mine!!!!

I just remember I saw Dill pickle chips in the supermarket!! Havent tried them, wont work with points on my diet!

When I was younger I would drink the juice. I love pickles!

Never heard of a pickle juice sno-cone! But I have seen pickle flavored chips and fried pickles (haven't tried either).

I can't stand pickles. If they put one on my hamburger and the juice soaks into the bun, I cannot eat it! YUCK!

DH drank pickle juice as a kid and has trained our DD4 to drink it too. It grosses me out.

I loved pickle juice when I was a kid. My DD used ice cold large dill pickles to sooth her gums when she was teething.

I have to confess, yes I did. I'm just glad my kids don't have that habit, though. It would give me the heebeejeebies now.:)

I drank pickle juice as a kid, and I do now as an adult when the pickles are gone and the kids aren't looking but guess what? They discovered it on their own and drink it! Maybe it's a "right of childhood" or something  It's good to use a little in tuna or chicken salad also! ::yes::

ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww:crazy2: :crazy2:
