I posted not too long ago that I just couldn't get excited about staying at the Dolphin. Well...I've done a lot more reading, and a LOT more viewing of pictures and I have to say I AM getting excited!

We'll be there 12/22-12/29 and the pics I've seen of the Dolphin at Christmas look fabulous! I saw last year's listing of holiday festivities and if this year is similar at all we're sure to have a wonderful time.

PLUS, Disney's not offering me a great deal like the teacher rate, so the Dolphin it is!!

So happy you are getting excited! I read your previous posts, and I know you had some reservations! We have never stayed at the Swan or Dolphin, but would in a heartbeat. I'm sure you will have a wonderful holiday!

I am so glad that you are excited about it. Last year I stayed at The Swan the 2nd week of Dec. This year I will be at The Swan the 1st week of Dec. I cannot believe that last year I forgot to check ot the lobby at The Dolphin. I will remember it this year.

I can't believe we're almost at the 90 day mark! Dh is really pumped about the Dolphin (he got to make the choice this time) and ds will be happy wherever we stay so long as he sees Mickey and pals!

We've never been to WDW at Christmas, and while we realize it will be crowded, we're very excited to see "the World" in its holiday finest.

Make sure you check out the lobby of the Dolphin at 6:00PM.

Traditionally, they have a laser show, and pick a lucky child out of the audience to "pull the lever" that starts the show and in turn lights the Christmas tree.

Disney World is the best place to be around the holidays. Make sure you catch the Osborne Family Lights in the Disney Studios on NY Street. It actually snows!
